Photo: Construction begins on site of Merrimack College’s Volpe Center
Posted on August 17, 2012 | in News | by Mike McMahonThe photo below shows the massive amounts of trees being removed from the Volpe Center on Merrimack College’s campus. The trees are being removed as part of a project that will see a new ice sheet being built directly in front of the current Lawler Arena (on the fenced in grass area nearest the street). The project also includes a new sports medicine facility and weight room for the college.
