Merrimack junior forward Mike Collins was named Hockey East Co-Player of the Week Monday, sharing the award with Jon Swavely of Maine.

Collins led the Warriors on Friday night to the 3-2 victory over No. 4 UNH with two goals, an assist and a +2 rating, notching his fifth three-point game of the season. On Saturday Collins was held off the score sheet for only the eighth time in 25 games.

The junior has nine points in his last five conference games and has racked up a team-high 25 points in 16 conference matchups. His 1.56 points per game in conference play is tops in Hockey East.

Swavely had two goals and an assist in a pair of games at Boston College, where the Black Bears swept the Eagles.
