Merrimack receives commitment from ’96 forward Brett Seney

Merrimack College received a verbal commitment from ’96 forward Brett Seney on Tuesday. He is Merrimack’s first recruit slate for the incoming class of 2015.

In 43 games this season with the Kingston Vees (OJHL), the London, Ontario native has 10 points (3 goals, 7 assists). In 74 games with the London Jr. Knights midget team last season, the 5-foot-9 forward totaled 112 points (43 goals, 69 assists).

The Oshawa Generals own Seney’s CHL rights, having drafted him in the ninth round last summer.
