Hard work behind Sunday’s lineup changes
Posted on March 8, 2013 | in News | by Mike McMahonNORTH ANDOVER — Merrimack College head coach Mark Dennehy shook up his lineup heading into Sunday’s 3-1 loss to UMass Lowell at Lawler Arena.
Seniors Brandon Brodhag and John Heffernan where both inserted into the lineup for freshman Brian Christie and sophomore Josh Myers.
“We had a couple of guys that we thought could work a little harder and a little smarter,” Dennehy said. “Sometimes all it takes is sitting up in the stands to watch the game and you see what you’re not doing right. Then, there’s also the fact that Brandon and John are both seniors, they know the situation and they know what it’s like to play with that type of desperation.”
Merrimack gets back to work tonight against UMass at Lawler Arena and there are still tickets available. As part of Fan Appreciation night, there are $5 tickets while supplies last and all fans are also eligible to win a signed team stick and 2013-14 season tickets.
