Frank Vatrano leaves Boston College

According to multiple sources, Boston College freshman forward Frank Vatrano has decided to leave the school. Circumstances surrounding his departure remain unclear.
He did not practice with the Eagles on Tuesday.
Vatrano, whose QMJHL rights are owned by the Moncton Wildcats, skated in 60 games for the NTDP last season, totaling 35 points (16 goals, 19 assists) and was considered one of BC’s top recruits for this season. In international competition, he scored a pair of goals and added two assists in six games last season.
