Cody Demers Commits to Merrimack

Demers

Central Catholic wide receiver Cody Demers has committed to Merrimack College. Dan Ventura of the Boston Herald was first to report the commitment.

Demers is a highly-decorated receiver and defensive back, who helped lead the Raiders to the Division 1 Super Bowl title this past fall. After catching 55 passes for 788 yards and nine touchdowns, mostly out of the slot, Demers was named an Eagle-Tribune All Star, All-Scholastic by the Boston Herald and Boston Globe and was also named the Lowell Sun’s Player of the Year and MVC Large MVP.

On defense and special teams, Demers intercepted four passes, averaged 29.2 yards per kickoff return and 17.9 yards per punt return.
