Boston University head coach Jack Parker has suspended defenseman Alexx Privitera for the remainder of the season, citing “on-ice discipline problems.”
Privitera was also suspended one game by Parker earlier this season for an alleged incident involving a North Dakota fan while the Terriers were visiting Grand Forks in November. He was then suspended two games — the second tacked on by Parker — after kicking a Denver player in December.
The sophomore had 12 points (2 goals, 10 assists) in 23 games this season to go along with 74 penalty minutes. Most recently, he was assessed a 5-minute major for kneeing along with a game misconduct in Monday’s 7-4 loss to Harvard in the Beanpot Consolation game.
